To come

Primary research has not started yet. This page will hold the interview and survey results. It is the study's #1 action (validation-first) — see the interview guide.

Field plan (5-6 weeks, solo, zero budget, cold)

  • Qualitative — 10-15 interviews of brewers (EN via r/Homebrewing, FR via brassageamateur), framed as "a beginner who's learning". Realistic target given the constraints: aim for depth, accept a modest sample, and state it honestly.
  • Quantitative — a survey (native site form, Formspree) distributed in the communities, to quantify needs and begin filling the FR data gap.

Priority hypotheses to settle

  1. Is the beginner-assistant need strong and durable, or do brewers "graduate" too fast to build a business on it? (the biggest risk — under-probed by the desk)
  2. Attribution-sensitivity: strong in EN, under-evidenced in FR — confirm both.
  3. Versioning + auto-rescale: real need or nice-to-have?
  4. Switching: would an intermediate leave an entrenched tool?

Expected output

Confirmed needs map (frequency × intensity, confidence label), key verbatims, EN vs FR comparison, and a per-hypothesis verdict (supports / refutes / inconclusive) → feeds the synthesis, the backlog and the Lean Canvas.

Marketing needs study — hypotheses pending field confirmation. Tracked on epic #1075.
